Day Nineteen: Favourite book turned into a movie - Schindler’s Ark (Thomas Keneally)

I’m judging this sort of as the best book to movie adaptation, rather than my favourite book being turned into a movie.

For it’s subject, the book does deliver in a rather dry, factual way. When reading it’s almost easy to forget that elsewhere, millions of people are being murdered and the danger the characters are in. The film, on the other hand, is beautiful and hopeful and sad, with the most gorgeous soundtrack ever.
