Day Twenty: Favourite romance book - Memoirs of a Geisha (Arthur Golden)

“At the temple there is a poem called “Loss” carved into the stone. It has three words, but the poet has scratched them out. You cannot read loss, only feel it.”

I love Sayuri/Chairman (she is one of my favourite characters ever) and how long she loves him for and the backdrop of the book and all the little intricate details of geisha traditions. I really want to study this at some point. Any good books similar to this, fiction or non-fiction?
